Restored and color version of the film "Arshin Mal Alan" was presented in the Montenegrin language in the Montenegrin capital, Podgorica, with the organizational support of the diplomatic representation of Azerbaijan in Montenegro, the Azerbaijan-Montenegrin Economic and Cultural Center and the “Azmont Investments” company.
Representatives of government agencies, diplomatic representatives, non-governmental organizations and the media of Montenegro participated at the event, reports press service of the Cinematographers Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The film aroused great enthusiasm among the audience.
It should be noted that the film "Arshin Mal Alan" was shot in 1945 in black and white on the basis of the same-name operetta dated 1913 by the great Azerbaijani composer Uzeir Hajibeyli. The screen adaptation was restored in Hollywood on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the operetta in 2013 by the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with the support of “Ata Holding” company.
