The name of the next student of the honorary scholarship named after Rasim Ojagov established by the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been announced.
The Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Azerbaijan awarded a special scholarship established in honour of the People’s Artist, USSR and Azerbaijan State Prizes laureate film director Rasim Ojagov for a new academic year to a student getting fee-paying education in film directing specialty of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
According to the press service of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 4th year student Vusal Abdulali Hajiyev, who distinguished himself in studying and social activities, as well as received awards at different events, was awarded the scholarship named after eminent film director by the decision of the Union’s Board in order to aid his education considering the socioeconomic status.
