Film restoration specialist Tamilla Mukhtarova's 65th birthday anniversary
The press service of Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan informs that today is the 65th birthday anniversary of Tamilla Mukhtarova.
Tamilla Mukhtarova was born on June 18, 1953 in Baku. In 1972, she entered the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Russian Language and Literature.
In 1973, she started working as a montage specialist (film editor) first in the development room, then in film-editing room in "Azerbaijanfilm" studio named after J.Jabbarli. Until 2007, as a montage specialist, she worked with chronicle-documentaries, scientific documentaries, animated movies, dubbing and numerous feature films. Tamilla Mukhtarova's works include such feature films as "Anecdote" (1989), "Vacant place" (1989), "My white city" (1993), "Blonde bride (Sari Gelin)" (1998), "Execution is delayed" (2002), "We will be back" (2007), etc. and such documentaries as "Circus is my life" (1978), "Metro", "Contract of the century" (1996), "Dear home", "Chopin's return", etc.
Since 2007, she has been working as the "Film Restoration specialist" in Azerbaijan State Film Fund.
In 2015, she was awarded with the badge of "Honoured Cultural Worker" of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
