The rector of the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan, People's Artist Siyavush Karimi, the Chairman of the Cinematographers Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan, People's Artist, Professor Shafiga Mammadova, Executive Secretary of the Cinematographers Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Honored Man of Art Jamil Guliyev and other guests attended the memorial evening, reports the press service of the Cinematographers Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The guests shared their thoughts on the famous composer, told about his place in the Azerbaijani music.

Further, People’s artists Mansum Ibragimov, Aigun Bayramova, Azer Zeynalov performed songs of Jahangir Jahangirov. Video clip about life and creative work of Jahangir Jahangirov was demonstrated during the event.

The event was organized with the support of the Cinematographers Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Film Fund and National Conservatory of Azerbaijan.
